Below is a summary of the constitution changes made at the March 2015 general meeting. The up-to-date constitution is found here: http://hmicsl.com/hmicsl/constitution

Article 3, section 3: executive terms now 3 years long

So that everyone’s on the same page, here are the exact instructions that the referees have been given regarding offsides.

In the definition of offside position, “nearer to the opponents goal line” means that any part of player head, body or feet is nearer to the opponent’s goal line than both the ball and the second last opponent. THE ARMS ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THIS DEFINITION: arms are not part of the game.

A player is offside if he is nearer his opponent’s goal-line at the ball at the moment the ball is played unless:
1. The player is in his own half of the field of play.
2. There are two of his opponents nearer to their own goal line.
3. The ball last touched an opponent or was last played by him.
