2012 Final – now with a Timbits game!

Dundas and Cambridge are going to meet in the final on Sept 15th!

Both teams knocked off a few higher-ranked teams to get there: Dundas was ranked #4 from the regular season and beat York (#5) in two games and then #2 ranked Ancaster Arsenal in two more games.

Cambridge were ranked #6 in the season. They not only beat the #3 ranked Hamilton Thunder in the first round – don’t forget this is the season’s Most Improved Team and the Best Defensive Team during the season – they then proceeded to beat #1 ranked Waterdown Bulldogs. What makes it a bit better for Cambridge is that during the regular season they lost twice to Waterdown!

Timbits game
We will be hosting a half-time ten-minute long game at centre field for children aged 4-6. Coaches will be hard at work to ensure the players (who will be supplied with coloured pinnies) have a fun game – both the PA system and the fans will cheer them on! There will be a Kodak moment and awards given to the participants after the game.

In order to make the day fun for everyone, we will also have face painting before the game for all kids interested in Red or Blue (Cambridge or Dundas) … the girls doing this will be creative and tasteful. See you and your kids on Saturday!
